Oh, I know... too many complaints. Whatever.

Has anyone else seen the weeds begin to disappear? I am thinking that after nearly 3 weeks of a new contract, they should have spent some valuable time at least being here. I know it will take some time to get this place back into shape, also. They said to give them 1-2 months to do so. I don't think that spending 1 day per week will help get it under control, though.

So, here's my question... has anyone even seen our famous property mgmt co. out canvasing the area? How do they know what is going on if they aren't here? Why do we continue to pay them, again? Someone, please help me to understand. Realistically, this is going to continue to be a problem if they can't contain the weeds. Will we have to pay more for additional work.....?

I was thinking the same thing on the weeds until I drove down Schnepf today.  It's completely been cleared as has the green belt over there and a few other areas on that side as well.  So there is SOME progress being made.

I also know a few members of the board have been meeting with the landscapers to keep up on things.  And yes, the management company has been here as I sent in a couple of complaints on REALLY bad (like 4 feet high) homeowner weeds with the response that Brett knew the houses I was talking about (described them so I know he wasn't just blowing smoke out his a$$) that he had been keeping an eye on them and that letters have now started going out to them within the past couple of weeks due to the neglect.  So, you may not necessarily SEE the property management company but I do believe they frequently come out, and I personally have seen the landscapers doing their thing and have actually (in certain areas) started to notice a HUGE difference in the weed population as well.

I think if we give them some time to make some headway they will get there.

Nice thought, but I was under the impression that there were going to be a bunch of them out here on Saturday to make some real headway and that they were going to get paid a lump sum amount to do so. Got any connections where you could answer to that one? All I know is whenever I ask questions, I get the famous "smoke" you mentioned. Would be nice if they could at least communicate to the homeowners that pay them.
