OK, I know y'all are not particularly close to Des Moines, but there's more folks reading in Muscatine so I'm posting here too.

Just wondered if anyone has a recommendation for a florist in Des Moines for flower delivery.  I like the small, locally-owned type places, not going to order from Hy-Vee or FTD... maybe Petal Perfect or Flowers By Anthony?

Just call the first non-chain you find in Google. That's what I do, lol. Usually works pretty dang well.

  I've only had 1 dealing with this Company, but they did me good.  They have several locations in Des Moines.  Boesen Florists (boesen.com)  515-255+7673.  Try them on for size.  Hope that helps.  Tom Milder.   

I live very close to Des Moines but I have never bught flowers in Des Moines before. If you want a good HyVee that sells flowers I can get you the number. We go there at times when we go to Des Moines shopping and they look like they have a HUGE selection of flowers. Just let me know.
