Some of you have probably already heard but we wanted to send out an email when we had more details. We have them now.
Last Friday night (8/10/12) around 10pm (could have been as late as 1 am) some unlocked cars where broken into, electronics and wallets were stolen. It is sad that we have to lock our doors but we do, however, NOT locking them should not an invitation. This happened on Teneiya Avenue & on Pernecia Avenue.
The police were called to both incidents. If you happen to see anything strange or out of the ordinary- or maybe you or your kids were out walking and might have seen something please let us know.
We ask that you do not disregard this email and please ask because eny of us could be the next victim. If thiese criminals can get away with "simple" stuff then they will become braver.
We need to establish ourselves as the subdivision that "YOU DO NOT VIOLATE". We do that by involving and helping the police as much as possible.
Please ask your neighbors, kids, etc if they saw anything and let us know by responding to this email.
Also, if you will be away from home please know you can contact the Security Patrol Committee and they will keep an extra eye on your home. You can do this by emailing this address and it will be passed on to the Chair of that committee.
