Action on Covenants

Posted in: Huntington Ridge
So, when is the homeowners association going to step up to the plate and enforce the covenants we have in place? 715 Hunter Lane is completely out of control. Ther is NO grass. There are upward of 6 vehicles there at all times mostly parked on the front lawn. One can only guess what goes on in the house by the way the outside is being kept. I know it is a rental but how long are you going to let the owners shirk their responibility to keep our neighborhood a decent place to live? Everyone suffers when properties are allowed to be kept in this manner. Slums beget Slums and individuals who live in that manner.

Very good questions

Do we know the homeowners phone number? I will be glad to call the homeowner. Also I would suggest you go to the City Web Site and fill out a complaint on the parked car. We have a developed a policy for the BOD to discuss the issue at the monthly meeting. To my knowledge it has never been brought to the board's attention at a meeting. I will try to post the policy.

Agenda item for October

A homeowner will need to file with the board a complaint on his neighbor to have the BOD get involved. If not we can get someone said something. If you can provide the actual problem or covenant broken to the board we can look into with a lawyer. Most complaints once everyone understands the problem can be handle with LPD or City code department.

We need help on this matter

We do need individuals interested in this important issue to serve on the HRHA. Please read other discussions to realize many issue have been address. I suggest homeowners ask our elected officals why the City will not enforce many of the code issues in our neighborhoods like other Cities in the area. Good questions, we need ideas and input.
