Pool and Clubhouse Information

Guidelines and Definitions

Please review the following information and rules and discuss these guidelines with your family. The pool is operated for the enjoyment of the dues paying members of the H. R. Homeowner=s Association, Inc. who pay the additional fee for pool membership. All members must be in good standing with no outstanding balance due. We hope you enjoy the pool this summer and thank you in advance for your cooperation in maintaining a safe and pleasant pool environment for everyone. The H.R. Homeowners Association, Inc. Board Members may make changes or amendments as needed to these rules without notice.


Definition of a guest: Any person not residing in Huntington Ridge. Any Huntington Ridge resident wanting access to the pool must pay membership fees. (i.e., in order to bring your neighbor=s children to the pool, both families must pay membership fees.) Anyone having a business relationship with a resident is not considered a guest. (i.e., if you watch children out of your home, you are being paid for your services. These children are not considered guests and will not be allowed access to the pool.)

Membership transfer: Membership will transfer with the sale of your home. All forms and releases must be signed by the new homeowner before pool privileges will be allowed. A transfer fee may be applicable.

Suspension Policy: If you do not understand the policies set forth, it is your responsibility to obtain clarification from one of the Board Members. Violations of the Pool Rules may result in suspension or termination of pool privileges and/or fines for damages in accordance with the Rules and Regulations, Declaration, and By-Laws. A violation is defined as neglecting to follow the stated guidelines, rules, regulations, and any applicable amendments. Final interpretation is the responsibility of the H.R. Homeowner=s Association Board, and all decisions will be final.

Violation #1 B Verbal warning from a Board Member. Violation #2 - Written warning from the Board. Violation #3 B Written warning and suspension of privileges and access to the amenities for (2) weeks. Violation #4 B Annual membership is terminated without refund. It will be the Board=s option as to whether this membership will be renewed the following year.

Pool Rules

1. Pool hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. No lifeguard will be on duty. Swim at your own risk.
2. Paying members (18 years or older) may bring guests. Guests may not be non-member residents of Huntington Ridge. Any member who has the responsibility of additional children (i.e., home daycare) may not bring the additional children to the pool.
3. Children under the age of fourteen (14) must be accompanied by an adult resident (18 years or older) at all times.
4. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the pool area and on all Huntington Ridge Homeowner=s Association common areas.
5. No glass is allowed in the pool area. Broken glass is dangerous and will force the closing of the pool. Any violation of this rule is subject to a fine and possible damage liability.
6. No food or drinks are allowed in the pool at any time.
7. Please deposit your trash in the trash receptacles provided. This will help to keep the pool area clean and prevent potential damage to the filter system.
8. Any music or noise must be kept to a low level so as not to disturb other guests.
9. Please limit the use of floats when the pool is crowded.
10. Children wearing flotation devices must be supervised by a parent in order to insure the child=s safety. Flotation devices for children, such as arm floats, are not safety devices.
11. All diapered children and newly potty trained children must wear fitting rubber pants at all times while in the pool. Should the pool become contaminated with fecal matter, State laws require that the pool be closed immediately for a minimum period of 24 hours to complete water treatment and testing.
12. If anyone is ill or has been ill with a communicable disease within a two (2) week period, please refrain from using the pool. This is for the safety of all members.
13. No pets or animals will be allowed in fenced areas.
14. Smoking is allowed in designated areas only. Cigarette butts must be properly disposed of.
15. No running, pushing, or roughhousing will be allowed inside the fenced area.
16. Anyone climbing the fence will be evicted from the pool area and could loose pool privileges.
17. No diving is allowed in any part of the pool.
18. No small objects are allowed in the pool. (Rubber balls, balloons, tennis balls, etc.) They could clog the filtering system.
19. No bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, etc. are allowed inside the fenced areas.
20. Parents must accompany small children to the exterior restroom.
21. The telephone located outside the clubhouse is for emergency use only.
22. When leaving the pool, please close all pool umbrellas and make sure the gate is securely closed and latched.
23. Any and all vandalism will be prosecuted. The parents or guardians of the offender(s) will be held financially responsible.
24. Please report any facility or maintenance problems to a board member as soon as possible.
25. No swimming when lightening is visible.
26. Allowing non-members access to the pool by sharing access codes or key cards may result in suspension of privileges.
27. Public intoxication in the pool area or any common area of the Hunting Ridge Homeowner Association is expressly prohibited.
28. Repeated violations of the pool rules may result in revocation of pool and clubhouse privileges.
