You should also remember that along with the good people of Portland coming to take advantage of the awesome things that Vancouver has to offer, would even more so be the thugs with drugs and guns and all kinds of violence flowing into to our city like you have never seen!  Not to mention the fact that Metro would be in total control at how deep their hands could and would go deep into our pockets!  Our tax dollars would also be paying for improvements for this system on their side of the river!!  We don't need that kind of marketing to bring in the people we want and that would benefit Vancouver!  Not to mention the financial end of this project is absolutely asinine!
