Hoover

A lady from the neighborhood stopped by this a.m. because someone told her I was involved with the Hoover neighbor Assoc. I am not but glad she stopped. She informed me that a proposed 40,000 sq ft Strip Club was going into the old Casa Bonita site.Is anyone aware of this??I live behind this shopping center and am very concerned about this. I think that could be as bad or worse than the bar was. Are there no zoning requirements for sexually oriented businesses? Does the neighborhood not have to be notified of someting like this? Does the city not have to hold open public meetings before something like this can occur?
