seriously, you make a good point, but for someone to say that kids going to Parochial schools don't have a right to ride the bus, well that is idiotic.

The post about bussing was did not intend to mean they can't ride the bus. It was meant as a response to a person who was pro parochial and saying they did not need to pay taxes to support public schools. The point was that the public schools give much needed support to parochial schools, therefore you should want that support to continue.

Re; choice/ riding

The person never said they didn't need to pay taxes, the person said they shouldn't have to, seeing as how his/her money was going to a private school, which in turn saves the public schools money. Also, in what way do the public schools support Parochial schools ? By letting kids ride the bus ? They should be entitled to anything the public schools get, because everything is funded by taxes, which everyone has to pay.
