New Orleans opens debris collection site
New Orleans residents can now bring storm debris and trash materials to the city’s Elysian Fields Transfer Station for disposal, the city said Tuesday.

The station is located at 2826 Elysian Fields Ave. and will be open to residents through July 1, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.

Residents must show a valid Orleans Parish driver license or brake tag to drop off materials.
