Yesterday afternoon 3 Costa Mesa Police patrol cars were seen detaining approximately 14 teen-age boys in Brentwood Park. I'd like to know why they were detained and if the neighborhood should be concerned and alert to similar activities. Any information regarding this incident would be appreciated.

I know I am replying on this topic late and not sure about the issue you saw but I do know that the Brentwood Park on Monte Vista Ave. had a stabbing with the continuation school kids last week (10/1/2014) and 2 of the kids that had golf clubs took off and were not caught. Yet I have a hard time finding this story anywhere?! We also have these kids smoking and loitering on our property on their way to and from school. Does anyone else have this problem?? I have called the school and they are of no help! |
