Speeding in Grandview

Posted in: Grandview Estates
Last month, there was a roll-over accident involving five teenagers. The driver was going 52 mph on Elm Street, just west of 4th Street. Thankfully, no one was hurt but this accident could have been much worse.

This was the second roll-over in seven months.
Speeding in Granview

How many people will have to die before action is taken.
Why do lives have to be lost before authority reacts.
I have read some posts before regarding speeding in this subdivision. This really makes people worried. What would be effective way to stop this kind of problem? Should HOA and other authorities be more involved?

While driving into 3rd street from Lincoln, I saw a Ford truck driving exceeding the speed limit from west to east on Birch. Without stopping for the stop sign at the cross at 3rd street, made a wide right turn onto 3rd street and passed me in a second.

If we want to make Grandview Estates a nice place to live. We have to build a strong community and stop these kinds of activities.
