Ramiro Salazar, Director of Libraries, City of Dallas
The City of Dallas?’ Library Master Plan is nearing completion after an 18 month study led by the Hillier Group, a consulting firm specializing in libraries. Mr. Salazar will describe the findings and recommendations of the Plan which covers facilities, collection of books, technology and staffing. Come and learn what the Plan provides for the improvement of our city libraries, especially Renner-Frankford Library, Fretz Park Library and the potential new library at Timberglen Park.


Eddie Hueston, Director of Master Plan for the Park Department
The City Council has authorized the consulting firm of Carter and Burgess to conduct and intense study to result in a Master Plan for the entire City Park System. Mr. Hueston will describe the steps to be taken in this study. Come and learn about the overall Plan and how you can influence how our Parks develop in the future.
