HOA bank balance from dues payments if $12,991.10 as Sept. 21 (less purchase of trees, noted above)?…Approximately $1,400 in dues assessment for 1999 is unpaid. Three homeowners are listed in arrears on dues payment for current and previous years and legal action is being considered against those homeowners. Unless dues are forthcoming, a lien will be filed against their properties and the owners will be liable for legal fees as well as past dues?….Some homeowners have not completed backyard landscaping as required by HOA covenants, which call for the work to be finished within one growing season or within six months of escrow closing. Those homeowners not in compliance will be notified by letter from the board?…. A landscaping footnote: covenants allow fences of cedar or wrought iron only (no wire). Fencing should be part of the landscaping package homeowners submit to the architecture committee. Best rule of thumb: discuss with your neighbors first.
