You can preregister your pet should they get lost. The last thing you want to worry about is finding a picture of your pet and entering all the information during a stressful time.

Losing your pet can be a traumatic experience for both you and your furry friend. Most animals never find their way home, resulting in hundreds of family pets being euthanized in Wilson County annually. Alpha Dogs, a small project group of the Leadership Wilson Class of 2008, set out to put an end to this preventable statistic.
Wilson County residents will now have an additional resource when searching for their missing pet. Leadership Wilson's Alpha Dogs has launched WilsonCountyPetfinders.com in partnership with Wilson County Animal Control, the Mt. Juliet and Lebanon Animal Control Departments and two local non-profits; The Humane Association of Wilson County and Country K-9.
When a family pet is lost, time is of the essence and it is critical for the pet owner to have access to every resource possible, including the animals in the care of all local municipalities and animal welfare groups. Leadership Wilson's Alpha Dogs Group has provided digital cameras and training to local animal control and animal welfare groups so that they can photograph the animals they pick up and upload them daily to WilsonCountyPetfinders.com.
This website is simple to use and will allow any individual to search for their lost pet, register a lost pet or register a pet they have found. It will allow caring individuals to add important information about the pet as well as upload digital pictures. We also strongly encourage pet owners to pre-register their pets on WilsonCountyPetfinders.com to be prepared in the unfortunate event your pet is lost.
