If you would like to have the city plant a tree or two between your sidewalk and the street contact the city Parks and Recreation Department at 427-6000. Councilman Didier has dedicated funds to this program, making it very affordable to purchase a tree for your parkstrip.
Since program inception, over a dozen street trees were added to the neighborhood. And there is still room for more!
