You should have attended the meeting. There is a lot in the budget that could be explained. The unknown is basically the reason for the increase. In no way am I a convert because I am not on a "side". I am fair in my decisions and firm in my beliefs.

I am fair also..  

I am all in favor of a nice well maintained development that increases property values here...As I stated way back when - that is ALL I care about here...making my home worth more..

Unfortunately it is worth less than what I paid for it..

The "unknown" is what should be communicated to us right along with the fee assesment letter we received- then instead of all this negativity- we could "see where our money is going...and make an INFORMED decision on whether to support it or not...

Support doesn't matter really. The board could raise the fee and they did. In no way is the HOA fee making your home value go down. My home is worth less too. The meeting was basically held to inform you of that budget. I can bring you a copy of the budget with the notes I took if you'd like. What is yor address?

I have decided to attend all future meetings in person , so I can get my information from  THE SOURCE..I also do not want any second hand , passed down information that could be inaccurate.I also don't want to be exposed to  any more of the spurious rumors being bantered about on this site.
