Hello Heart of the Westside Neighbors. I hope you're all having a wonderful summer! Our neighborhood association has had several newcomers attend the last few meetings and I'd like to say Welcome. Everyone who lives in the neighborhood is welcome to attend. Meetings are the 3rd Thursday of every month at the Forest Avenue Assembly of God Church; it's centrally located and there's no charge for us to use their fellowship hall. Meeting time is 6:00 to 7:00pm and we usually have refreshments. We discuss concerns and plan events for the neighborhood and at our July meeting we'll be planning our National Night Out event for August 25th. We need your ideas and knowledge to make this a great event and get ready for school to start; let's end summer with a GREAT party in the park! Again Welcome to All; we hope to see you on Thurday, July 20th. Show your pride in your neighborhood and plan to attend our monthly meetings.
