This am two deer crossed Londonderry @ Chedworth at 6:15 am. They hung out in the front yard of 5101 Chedworth. The school bus came down that dark block and spooked them. The driver always toots the bus horn at me and my dogs. I don't think she even saw the deer.
Last week I was walking around 6 am. Corner of Burnley and Seacroft has those giant Halloween decorations. I thought they had moved one of the skeleton dogs closer to the street. That house is very dark in that stretch of Seacroft. All of a sudden it moved. It startled me for a second until I realized it was a deer.
Deer are running around every morning in that 6 to 7 am time frame. They seem to hang mostly in the darkest properties. If driving I would be extra careful.
Next week with the time changing Daylight saving time ending it might not be as bad, but I would still be alert for darting deer.
