HOA Is not in effect now and no one cares!!!

Posted in: Hampton Meadows

This goes out to the people who are trying to get this dang HOA going. If the people of this neighborhood wanted this to happen, they would have shown up to your meeting! Get the hint, LET IT GO!!!

It would be different if this was a ritzy neighborhood, a crumby one or even a neighborhood with our own park, pool or anything else like that. We have plenty of KCPD people who live in our neighborhood and look out for us!

Next time I see any papers being distributed on our neighbors doors or property, I will be sure to file a compliant with the city! Now there is a name with an email address, I will keep this and next time if I see my neighborhood full of your "trash" letters I will be sure to forward this email and name on when I do file a compliant!  I know the immediate neighbors around me are sick of your little papers and obvious if no one is showing up to YOUR meetings, no one else cares!

We are sorry if this informational handout about  the neighborhood offended you.   I am understanding that you do not care about the neighborhood and what is going on.  I would not be offended if you did not continue to respond on this website based upon your statement and opinion.  We are not trying to "get this dang HOA going".  It has apparently been going since Mr. Trusty registered the HOA with the county, which was in the handout by Chuck Weber.  If you would have noticed there has not been any communication from the attempted Neighborhood Association since our attempted meeting in March.  We were done.  Since then I was contacted by Chuck Weber prior to distribution of his handout as stated in the information handout yesterday. I would like to either submit the negative side of our neighborhood or give positive feed back to NNI. Then when Mr Trusty hands the HOA over to the neighborhood, NNI knows where we stand.  Let us all try to be more  respectful and give constructive feedback.

Why would you post this hateful message?  I don't prsonally know Nancy, so don't know what the motivation is for her involvement.  I assume she wants to be sure our neighborhood stays safe and properties are maintained.  If there is some other motive, I'd like to know.

I appreciate Nancy for trying to get involved.

I dont want want an HOA. That is one of the reasons I moved to this neighborhood. There have been too many instances where a handful of people want power and control over what should be peoples free liberty to do what they want with their own property. There really is no other reason for an HOA other than control. For me I could care less if you have a boat parked in your driveway or what kind of fence you have in your yard. Is there anything more to having an HOA other than having freedom restricting rules such as that? What is going on in our neighborhood that would make someone want to impose an HOA that would certainly come with restrictions?
