Hampden Heights Area Re-Zoning of area apartments

Tamarac Village Apartments and the Lodge Apartments

On Wednesday, June 7, 2006 the Denver Planning Board by vote, recommended to the Manager and City Council that the following property be rezoned:

Zoning Map Application # 4844, 3300 South Tamarac (Tamarac Village Apartments), from R-2 and R-2a to R-3

The Lodge

Zoning Map Application #4845, 8405 East Hampden (The Lodge), from R-2 to R3X

Redevelopment

It is the plan of the owner/developer to raze the two properties in redevelopment phases. On September 13, 2006, several members of the HCCA Board attended a meeting where the architect presented plans for the redevelopment.
