is getting some long-overdue attention. Marcia Johnson has rallied the troops in an effort to revitalize our northern border. Four focus groups have been formed to develop ideas and make recommendations that will help Professor John Prosser of CU-Denver and his students study Colfax from Broadway to Yosemite, starting in January. Categories under the microscope include: retail/commercial, single family/multi-family housing, open spaces and recreation, amenities, transportation, parking, social aspects and security. Recommendations will be presented at an East Colfax Revitalization Community Meeting on Wed., Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at Johnson & Wales Hospitality College (Between 17th & Montview, west of Quebec. See www.jwu/denver/dir.htm for campus map.) Parking lot on 18th between Olive & Oneida. The public is invited to attend.
