Neighborhood Assoc Officers

We are all volunteer neighborhood group that are very active. The officers are all volunteer as well. Several of us work full time-besides the neighborhood stuff.
We have an active Volunteer In Prevention program that has programs under it. Such as TAG (Tucsonan's Against Graffitit), Safe House Program, Park Watch. We actively Patrol throughout the neighborhood in cars, on foot, or bicycle. Trained by the Police Department.
We have developed and enhanced a 55 acre Bird & Animal Sanctuary (Atturbury) in the Regional park located within our neighborhood boundaries.
We are active pioneers in the city recycle program, recepients of a grant to improve the aesthetic appearnance of the neighborhood, are active in our local schools (elementary, High School,and Community College within our boundaries), active participants in the regional recreation center located with our limits.
We are recognized and approved by the City of Tucson through the Department of Neighborhood Resources.
