Just want to inform Greenfield residents that voles are all around. They are burrowing animals and look like small rats. Voles will make tunnels through your grass. Your grass will look like you just put sod down leaving lines in between. They especially like rock walls. They made their tracks in our lawn and made holes at the base of our rock wall. The more holes there are the more families live there. I warned my neighbors behind me and they have them too! I want the word to get out. They need to be poisoned. There is no humane way to rid them. They reproduce at such a fast rate and mostly in the spring. They will damage trees, lawns, bushes, and flowers. We called an exterminator. The cost was $120.00 and I only had them in one area! If you act fast you can save yourself from a lot of damage.
