My name is Mike Norris.  I was on the volunteer committee and I am the Vice-President of the NWHPOA.  I can be reached at norris0902@yahoo.com.  I'm really just a local boy who has a little bit of redneck in him and I'm trying to do the right thing here.  I believe the HOA can be a good thing.

This website was my idea.  The intent of this site was to help us communicate quickly and efficiently and to give everyone a way for their voice to be heard.  Never was this site meant to be used for personal attacks on people, which is what is now happening.  If it continues the appropriate posts will be removed.  I will remove them myself.  I am not asking you to not put negative opinions out there.  Every opinion is valid here.  But, lets all act like grown ups and not take put shots at each other.  We can get our points across without being ugly to one another.

There is some inaccurate information floating around out there so lets clarify a few things.

First of all, Art Gandy is not a liar.  I have been working with Art for about a year now.  He is a good and honorable man who has done nothing but step forward and volunteer his time, effort and money to try and clean up this ridiculous mess that we are all right in the middle of.  He has been extremely honest, professional, diligent and efficient in his efforts.  Everything he has done is being documented and is in the best interest of our community.  I am sure his way of doing business comes partially from his military background.  He is doing the job that none of you want to do.  He deserves a little bit more respect than what he is getting.  Art did not start this and is no more responsible for this mess than Chris Tong is.  He is trying to clean this up so let's get off of his back a little bit.  If anyone just needs to vent try calling Jimmy Kimberlin.  He is the one that created this mess.

Next, the Board has not lied to any of you. Quite the contrary we have been extremely open and honest in our dealings.  When we told you that we thought section C was in, that is what we were told by legal counsel.  We have since been told that is not true and that there would have to be a vote involved.  Many different people have told us many different things and we don't know what to believe anymore.  There are issues and loopholes involved with taxes and plats and common area that have to be looked at.  The truth is we simply DO NOT KNOW what is going to happen with section C and neither do any of you.  If any of you can prove without a shadow of a doubt one way or the other about section C please step forward and present your case.  I can tell you that none of you can.  At this point anything that is said about section C is simply hearsay.  The Board has hired a lawyer to look into this and settle it once and for all.  The instant we hear from the lawyer it will be posted on this website.  It will then be documented and logged in the records and each of you will receive in writing a copy of what we find for your own personal records.  We should know something for certain soon.  Until then let's leave it alone!

What we do know is that with or without section C the NWHPOA will move forward.  Whatever happens with section C will not change the fact that we are all partial owners of several acres of common area that has to be maintained and insured.  Section C does not have anything to do with the fact the covenants are not being enforced and parts of the neighborhood look like Whitehaven.  Folks, we have plenty to address and worry about without section C.

Mr. Norris you should have had your ducks in a row before proceeding with this unwanted HOA.

How can something be "common area" if it is legally not included in the HOA?

Mr. Honesty we're doing the best we can.  We're learning as we go here to a certain degree.  If you would like to help clean up this mess or think you can do a better job your assistance and support would be welcomed!

Not sure I get your question.

One more thing Mr. Norris, since you and a handful of other people (mostly board members and Section C illegal people) are the only people out here that want a HOA then why don't YOU go and address this with Jim Kimberlin since you said he is to blame. Actually, he is to blame for this but then the Board is to blame for going forward with something that is totally unfair and possibly illegal.

When the buying public finds out they bought a house in this subdivision where the true facts about the HOA were not disclosed do you think there might be a problem or possibly a lawsuit?

Would you buy a house in a subdivision where half the people paid dues and the other half didn't if you knew this in advance.

I know I wouldn't. Having the HOA like this by it's very nature is going to devalue all the property in this subdivision. No one will want to buy out here and you will not be able to fool all the people all of the time.
