Who Should I Call?

Oct 02, 2001

Perhaps the biggest problem in dealing with neighborhood concerns is knowing who to call for help. Of course, coming to our monthly meeting is a good way to get information on the resources available to homeowners. However, if you prefer to discuss your problem privately, the best place to start is the NEIGHBORHOOD INSPECTION SERVICE, (720) 865-3200. This is the city office responsible for investigating what seem to be the most common complaints in our neighborhood: trash in yards, too many vehicles (often parked in the yard), multiple families living in one house, etc. You don?’t have to give them your name, and there is a system in place so you can follow up on the status of your complaint. If they can?’t help with your particular problem, they can direct you to the proper authority. If your problem has to do with noise, traffic, etc., call our Neighborhood Police Officers, Nick Grove or Phil Stanford at the District 4 Station (303) 937-4444. In addition to their regular patrol duties, Nick and Phil work closely with us on issues involving the Police Department.
