Grand Entries Community

What is it?

Adopt-A-Block is a way for concerned neighbors to keep track of municipal code violations in the neighborhood, and report them to the city's Rapid Response team in an orderly and centralized manner.

How does it work?

At our monthly meeting, the neighborhood gets divided up based on who wants to participate. Once a person has an area to inspect, they make an inspection and write down any pertinent violations and give this report to the Adopt-A-Block leader. In addition, they would keep an eye out for any major problems so that they can get reported right away.
-Shopping carts.
-Abandoned or inoperable vehicles on or off the streets.
-Eyesores such as weeds, hazardous storage of materials, graffiti, and so forth.
-Burned out streetlights.

How do I get involved?

If you are interested in joining the Adopt-A-Block Team for Grand Entries, please send an email to and we'll let you know when the next meeting is.
