I would like to replace an engine in one of my cars. It's too expensive to have a mechanic do it and we can't afford car payments/lease payments with two children in college, etc. I was able to find a low mileage engine from a junk yard. I would like to do the work in my driveway.
Are there any restrictions on doing this kind of work on your property in Good Hope Estates? I see many people doing mechanical work in their driveways and sometimes even on the street. If there are restrictions, I believe they are not actively enforced. I would make sure that it was not an eyesore, which I can't say for some of the other backyard mechanics!
Please advise.
