Speed Humps

To Hump or not to Hump.

You may or may not realize that the city has approved and budgeted a speed hump program aimed at traffic calming in residential areas. Unfortunately, the $50,000 that was earmarked for this project has already been spent. I believe this program will continue to expand in furture years. Therefore, we need a cohesive position on this issue.

Damage to automobile suspensions?

The only legitimate concern I've heard about the speed hump installation is the potential damage to the automobile suspension. The "Speed Hump" is designed in a way that reduces the immediate up and down of a traditional speed bump.

Formal request.

We will need a formal request to the city if we are to proceed. I would like someone, other than me, to spearhead this project. Please call me if you are able. Please visit the City's website on our home page for more details.
