Join us for the 21rst Annual Georgetown Classic 10K! There will be a post-race Georgetown Street Food Festival, sponsored by J. Paul's of Georgetown, for all race participants and volunteers.

Charity Beneficiary: Net Proceeds from the race will be donated to Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care, a local volunteer organization devoted to support services with children affected with HIV. If you care to make a donation, directly to this organization, or to volunteer your services, please call (202) 347-7707. Your $100 (or more) donation to Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care automatically enters you into the race! Make your check payable to Pediatric AIDS and send it in with your
registration form.

ChampionChip: The ChampionChip timing system will be used to score the race. The system uses a computer "Chip" which must be tied to runners' shoe laces, and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line as well as the finish line, resulting in a net, or "Chip" time for each runner. Overall awards will be based on the "clock time," and age group awards will be based on "Chip time." The chip rental fee is included in your entry fee, or you can purchase your own personal chip and deduct $2 from the entry fee for this race and other Capital Running Company ChampionChip races.

Volunteers are needed to make this race a success. All volunteers will receive a race t-shirt, post-race refreshments, and the satisfaction of contributing to a successful event. Check the volunteer box on the entry form and mail it to the address indicated. You will be contacted in September concerning your assignment.

Please note: USATF rules prohibit strollers, baby-joggers, dogs and headphones on the course. No refunds. Please pick up your t-shirt on race day, as we cannot mail them.
