Historical/Cultural Designation Approval

It's Official!!!

On January 11, 2005, the City Council of Fort Worth voted unanimously to grant designation of historic and cultural district to the Garden of Eden Carson Street Historic District. This is the first African-American historic/cultural district in Tarrant County and 15 members were on hand to witness this momentous occasion.

Congratulations to all the members of the Garden of Eden NA for all their hard work and persistence.
