It is a sad state of affairs when residents have to find out what is going on in their community from WSFA. I suggest that the HOA get out front and distribute safety and crime information fully. Even now the HOA provides less information about the road block robbery on Old Ware Rd. than did WSFA. This is a disgrace and needs to be corrected. It is no comfort to the residents when the HOA takes the head-in-the-sand approach to these issues.

Well, have you read the article in this week's Wetumpka Herald? They are reporting that the woman was blocked in her driveway and was robbed. So who is right??!!

Why don't you just contact the Elmore County Sheriff's office yourself and let us all know what the official police report said? That's the nice thing about having an online discussion board--everyone is able to contribute to keeping the neighborhood informed.

That's a good idea. I will do that. In fact, it would not be a bad idea for someone to do this regularly - a sort of real detailed weekly crime report, so we know what we are dealing with.
