Tietze Park is a 9-acre park located in the Lakewood Heights neighorhood, and adjacent to the Lower Greenville neighborhood, in East Dallas, Texas.
The general address is 29OO Skillman Ave.

The park was acquired in 1924 by the City of Dallas, when it was on the northeast fringe of Dallas. At that time it was named Keith Park. Ten years later it was renamed Tietze Park, after W.R. Tietze, who was Superintendant of Parks for the city from 1896-1933. Mr. Tietze was a floriculturalist who studied under Henry Shaw, philanthropist and founder of the Missouri Botanical Gardens in Saint Louis.

The stone pavilion at the center of the park was a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project, built in 1934. The park also features a community swimming pool ($2 for adults and $1 for children, open generally between Memorial Day and August 1), a lighted baseball field (call Dallas Parks and Recreation Dept. for reservations), a tennis court, basketball court, a second ballfield also suitable for soccer, a picnic area (at the northwest corner of the park - call Parks & Rec. Dept. for reservations), a children's playground, recycling drop off igloos for glass bottles and aluminum cans (funds collected benefit the park and neighborhood), a plaza with benches and tables, and many old Live oak, Cedar and Bois d'arc trees.

The park today is one of the most used and most popular urban parks in Dallas.
