I see the Mayor resigned this morning effective 6/30/26.   

She was great the first several years.    Tbat said she seemed to have lost her spark the last couple of years.   Hope the replacement is not a NUT JOB. 

Tbought it was strange she missed the Board members appreciation event a couple of weeks ago at the government center that she invited board members to attend as she does every year.   Hopefully she is not ill and just ready to move on.   

This was a shady move to do it after getting re-elected.  It takes away the opportunity for the voters to pick their on Mayor.   Now the all Dem Council will make the choice shutting out the citizens in Charlotte from having that choice to pick their Mayor.
