Lately, I've begun noticing more and more illegal in-law units on panoramic hill. At least one of them, rented by UC students.
Panoramic Hill is such a special area, with a unique peace and beauty to it. While the idea of people converting their basements is nothing new, it's the wrong direction for our neighborhood and as a long-time resident, I feel it's disrespectful to many of us who choose to live here. More people, more crowding, more cars.... etc. etc.
I don't feel it's within my authority to tell my neighbors what to do with their homes, and I value harmony with all my neighbors, but I do want to alert someone to blatant, transparent in-law units. Would the board have any authority / enforcement over such things?
All comments welcome.
