According to information I have received, the bid for paving did not include the paving of Uravan. Uravan was only to receive a ''top coat'' of ashphalt. I have been informed that because Steve and Doug live on that street it was determined to rip up the old asphalt and put down the new. To pave Uravan will cost the citizens of this community approximately $40,000 to $60,000. Why are we doing this? Because one of the Trustees and the Mayor live on Uravan. Hmmmmmm, makes you wonder doesn't it???

I have to imagine that there has to be a valid reason for the paving of Uravan other than ''Doug and Steve live there''. Do you really think that they would be so irresponsible as to go ahead with this without good reason? Who is your source? These types of inflammatory messages are completely counter productive and propagate rumors that may be untrue.
