Vice President Rodney Zeller called the meeting to order at 7:33pm.

Republican Brian Simpson addressed the meeting?’s attendees about his upcoming campaign against State Representative Larry Clark. Check our website for future postings by Mr. Simpson.

Treasurer?’s Report ?– presented by Randa Murray. Information as of June 30, 2009.
?• See attached dues delinquency report.
?• Income was $506.26; Expenses were $4,519.95; Account Balance is $72,994.74.
Architectural Control Committee
?• No requests were made.
Maintenance Committee
?• L. Frazier has trimmed shrubs, sprayed the beds, mulched, planted flowers, started some rock work, and replaced the damaged sprinkler box.
?• Tree work should soon begin on the bridal path. We had trouble with the original company showing up and have since gone with a new one.
Old Business
?• A snow removal contract has been made with Highview Hardware.
?• Highview Hardware is offering a discount to anyone needing to replace damaged mailboxes. You can receive $5 off by mentioning Farmgate. This makes the costs lower than Lowe?’s or Home Depot. Please support our local hardware store.
?• Many thanks go out to Highview Fire Dept. for hanging our flags!
?• Reminder: Homeowners are capable of receiving the minutes much sooner by sending your email address to annesray@insightbb.com.
New Business
?• It was mentioned that someone calling the police at the Seventh Division reached a voicemail. Due to budget cuts, the desk is not always covered. Leave a message if calling with or for information. If you need the police to respond to a non-emergency, call 574-2111. Of course, call 911 for emergencies.
?• There have been quite a few complaints concerning 3 to 4 boys ringing doorbells, ripping down flags, overturning flower pots, and moving outdoor furniture in the middle of the night. Please keep an eye out.
