Recently the citizens and members of Frankford Improvement Association, Inc in concert with The International Rescue Committee of Eastern Ave and NECOP has formed a Citizens On Patrol section to strictly relate with our many refugees and American citizens in the area to improve our community based policing practices for our neighborhoods as well as engage the refugees in networking relationships with current residents and American citizens within the various FIA communities.
Each Monday at 5p.m. there are meetings and discussions on refugee citizen involvement with the general community members regarding safety as well as practices to educate our newcomers in civic involvement regarding safe living in the urban community.
