Fall is a great time to clear out all our gently used, unwanted household items and clothing. I look forward to this years garage sale. Some tips to make sure your sale is as profitable as it can be:
Make sure your items are price tagged so buyers can readily see the cost.
Have a table of free items boldly displayed to bring customers in to your area
Have plastic bags available for multiple items
Sort items for ease of customer visibility such as tools, dishes, toys, linens, etc.
Consider "Buy one, get one free" items
Group all items to be sold for $1, 50cents, etc.
Have enough change available to speed sales.
