Douglas County (Castle Rock) has a website. On that site is a brochure that talks about home preparedness for emergencies. They are using it to give out info to folks in prepping for the Y2K in case there is a problem with utilities and services. However, if you look at it there is info that is good for any emergency; such as, blizzards, etc..

Might be a good link.
