Just a little FYI to all of you...
Yesterday between the hours of 4 pm and 8 pm, one of our neighbors?’ houses was broken into and burglarized. It appears the burglars were primarily after money and social security cards, though they did take a GPS system. They ripped open a few presents, but were not interested in them. These neighbors back up to the open space between Brittany Knolls and Huntington Hills. The house was entered through the back sliding door that was locked, but a dowel was not in the doorway and they were able to open it. The policemen told our neighbors that the same incident occurred the night before in Eagle Tree, and they believe the two incidents might be related. The neighbors said their lights were all off, and it was obvious they were not home during that time. Make sure you leave your lights on, radios on, curtains closed at night, let your dogs do the ir job, and be alert to the neighbors around you. It might also be helpful to let your neighbors know if you will be gone for a few days so they can keep an eye out for suspicious activity. We don?’t need any more of these occurrences?….ugh.
