Our house is due to be completed around Oct - last we checked. Does anybody know if we'll be able to get DSL?

DSL Availability
I work at home and have been trying to get DSL service for our house in Indigo Hill for some time now. My phone line did not qualify for U S West's MegaBit service, so I sought out other alternatives.
I thought I had succeeded recently while subscribing for DSL service through Covad, but things are being held up because of U S West's inability to provide the appropriate DSL lines to our neighborhood (fiber vs. copper line issues, I believe). And even though it's a different company, they still have to lease the lines through U S West.
Covad's ISP is currently telling me that U S West is investigating further and that I should know more in a couple of weeks. Needless to say, I'm trying to stay fairly optimistic.
If I get any further response on the matter -- positive or negative -- I'll post it here.
