Our Eastgate Crimewatch group had a LARGE turnout for our National Night Out.
We exceeded our own expectations. We had free pizza, hot dogs, cakes, cookies,
and plenty of iced drinks as well as water for everyone. A large number of raffle drawings every thirty minutes, with many free food coupons won by many who came out. We had mechanical horses, and a couple of live horses for pictures, goodies bags for all attendees, one of the citie's firetrucks, balloon man for the children, and face painting. A wonderful time was enjoyed by all. We are planning a larger celebration for next year. Everyone in our community was invited.
