PARK CLEAN U P DEMONSTRATES COMMUNITY COMMITMENT

The Stansbury/Lynch Cove Park Clean Up only happens twice year (April/September), but Anita and Jerry Taylor?’s commitment to organize these events continues year after year. Throughout the years numerous residents from the Eastfield-Stanbrook Community have volunteered to rise early on a Saturday morning, head for the park and be handed plastic bags and gloves to do trash hunting. That same yearly commitment happened again April 28th, 2001. The following is our salute to the volunteers who made the park clean-up a success: ?“To the residents who volunteered from Eastfield-Stanbrook; students from General John Stricker Middle School; Sue Borowy and her Girl Scout Troop #1841, Joe Borowy?’s and his Cub Scout Troop #819, Jerry Taylor and his Cub Scout Troop #343. Also we wish to thank members of the Merritt Park Baptist Church for coming out and making a huge difference in the tree line area.?”
