BIKE LANES SHELVED AT THIS TIME

On 14 June 2011 a meeting was held at Park Village Elementary School at 6:30 PM with Councilwoman Ivy Taylor to discuss the proposed bike lanes and the neighborhoods patition to halt the bike lanes for the neighborhood, as the neighbors' association was not informed before hand and neighbors thought that it was a waste of city funds for this neighborhood at this time as the prinicpal stated that she can count on just 2 hands how many kids ride bikes to school in this neighborhood..  The bike lane issue will be brought up at a later time.  A new stop sign has been erected on midcrown and castle glade going north to walzem Rd.
