McKinley Village Project Stalled
John Laing Homes bankruptcy forces delay
The McKinley Village development proposal was originally scheduled for review and comment at the March 10 City Council meeting. The builder of the proposed project John Laing homes recently declared bankruptcy, and the review and comment has been delayed.
A new date has not been announced.
ESIA will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Dear Neighborhood leader,
The Review and Comment on the McKinley Village project that was scheduled for March 10, 2009 has been postponed. In February, John Laing Homes, one of the partners in the project, filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. However, Developer Phil Angelides is committed to moving forward with the project. I will let you know when the item is rescheduled.
