DPR GAME PLAN
creating a strategy for our future

Public Meeting Announcement

Join us over the next ten months in crafting a thoughtful long-range strategy for Denver 's parks, parkways, trails, natural areas, recreation
facilities and programs.

Come to one of our public meetings and tell us what is important to you.

We 'll add your ideas, thoughts and questions to our growing list:

* .Is the 10-acre neighborhood park obsolete? Is anyone there?

* .Are we taking care of the parks and features that make Denverspecial?

* .Does everyone have their fair share of park and recreation amenities?

* .Does everyone know that we have parks all the way from sand hills prairie to the tundra on top of Mt.Evans?

* .Should the City be taking a more proactive approach to conserving water and resources?

* .Is your dog happy with our parks?
Why?

Denver 's changing: people, neighborhoods, how we spend our spare time and money. We are fortunate to have such wonderful parks and recreation programs, but now is the time to set a vision for the 21st century or be left behind.

We need a Game Plan.
Let 's safeguard what we have and value and boldly plan ahead.

We 'll be holding a series of public meetings, hosting a website, and offering illustrated presentations over the next 10 months.

Think big (or small)and join us.
Children are welcome! .Spanish-speaking facilitators will be there!

.We can provide sign language interpreters or an alternate form of the materials (with 48 hours notice).
