Goal 1: Increase the neighborhood identity of East Calhoun and sense of pride in our community.
Objective 1: Assist East Calhoun homeowners to make exterior improvements to their homes.
Strategy 1: Provide East Calhoun homeowners with financial incentives to improve the exterior of
their property.

Objective 2: Improve the pedestrian level lighting on Hennepin Avenue.
Strategy 1: Provide NRP funding to offset the assessments for installing pedestrian level street lighting
for property owners on Hennepin Avenue.
Strategy Description:
Inform property owners about costs associated with street lighting assessments.
Petition property owners to gather support to install pedestrian level street lighting.
