East Calhoun Community Organization NRP: A Chronology

March 1994: Sara Baker schedules the first organizational meeting
April 1994: Participation Agreement is written
May 1994: Participation Agreement is approved by the ECCO Board
June 1994:Participation Agreement is approved by NRP
Fall 1994: Neighborhood survey is developed
January 1995: Survey is mailed to all residents of East Calhoun Neighborhood
Feb./March 1995: Steering Committee compiles and discusses survey results
May 1995: First “Town Meeting” is held to present survey results and to organize “task forces” to review the concerns revealed by the survey.
Summer/Fall 1995:Task forces meet to review concerns and develop proposals
December 1995: Second “Town Meeting” held to present task force results and obtain feedback on proposals.
Jan.-Sept. 1996: Steering Committee reviews all proposals in detail
October 1996: Traffic study conducted
