I am wondering if ANY residents of Bellemeade are in favor of this ordinance. No one has spoken for it at the last two meetings. We know the commissioners want it passed. In December, 36 residents came out in protest and in Januray 17 residents attended. Why doesn't the beautification committee attend and face us?

I am in favor of getting the ordinance repealed. 

We just had a tax increase;

we have weeds in the entrances;

we are being asked to pull weeds;

we are still waiting for the speed humps;

but yet, we are paying an arborist to do a tree-health survey and

we are potentially spending public money on private property to remove and replace trees. 

And ... if one of my trees has to be replaced the day after the so-called Beautification Committee runs out of money, I get NO HELP from Bellemeade to remove and replace my dead tree. 

Where is the equity?
