Dove Meadows Community Improvement Association

I am sorry to hear you are leaving our neighborhood.

I received a letter recently for my lawn in the midst of it raining for some time; it was basic and respectful I thought, although another post here mentioned similar displeasure with their letter. Lawn maintenance letters were strongly addressed by a few residents at the annual meeting as well; the Board did request ProComm use a bit more discretion when issuing letters for lawn maintenance.

I will bring the matter of content to the Boards attention and request we discuss a more agreeable wording. We will instruct ProComm to comply if changes are made. I would welcome your call to discuss your letter and get your opinion as well though.

I completely agree with the fact that we could use a name change, unfortunately we were incorporated as ''Dove Meadows Community Improvement Association'' and I believe that the only way we could change it would be to dissolve and re-incorporate. There is simply no way, based on past history, that we could ever get enough participation to meet the requirements to make it happen. Great presentation though, I actually envisioned ProComm low crawling in my front yard...

always willing to help

In response to your request, we are willing to lend a hand if you so need. Please keep in mind that we are both working individuals and I also attend school. Don't let that deter you from letting us know how we can help you. Time permitting, we'll do all that we can. Feel free to contact me at my e-mail.

Mr. Bowman,

Thank you for responding to the resident's complaint.

However, it should be noted that residents would be less hostile to ProComm if they would be less reactionary in their responses to perceived infractions.

My personal example of the rather intractable nature of ProComm's behavior was when I was repairing my privacy fence.  My gate was falling apart and so I built a new gate by using the old gate as a template.  I'm not a professional so the job took me three days.  While I was working, I leaned my old gate against the side of my house.  By the time I had completed my project, I had received a letter for storing "trash" on my property.

For goodness sake, ProComm, exercise some discernment.
